Do you provide a domain name for my website?

Yes. We can purchase and cover the annual cost (up to $25) of one available domain name for as long as you are in a PeakCARE website agreement. If you already have a domain name, we recommend leaving it with your current registrar and we will take care of pointing it to our servers when your new website is ready to go live.

Will you host my website?

Yes. All of our PeakCARE website plans cover the cost of high-performance cloud hosting by SiteGround, one of the world’s premier hosting companies with extensive knowledge of modern content management systems. They provide best-of-class support, super fast performance and security. They are pioneers in proactively inventing their own advanced web hosting security solutions. With an average customer rating of 4.98 out of 5, SiteGround can’t be beat!

I'm already paying for website hosting. Can I keep my new site with that company?

No, we will not install your new website on any other hosting servers. For us, it is vitally important to keep your new website running fast, secure and efficient. Through experience, we have learned that being very familiar with the web hosting environment is a huge time saver and keeps costs under control. For this reason we host all our clients on SiteGround Cloud Hosting. We know what features they provide, how they work, and how to set things up quickly and correctly.

Once your new website is live on our servers, you can cancel your current hosting plan as long as it doesn’t have any other websites or email connected to it.

Do you provide email accounts?

No. Because of the increasing complexity and requirements of email we do not offer email addresses at this time. We do not recommend basic email addresses available with many website hosting plans because they fail to effectively deal with the flood of spam inundating your inbox. We recommend using a dedicated, professional email service such as Google G Suite for your organization’s email addresses. We can assist with the basic configuration settings required to get your external email service working with your domain name and website.

I don’t need all the features in the BUDGET plan. Can I get a discount?

Our BUDGET plan is specifically designed to make a professional website affordable for small business owners, so there is no discount. The full list of features are merely options to provide flexibility for a wide variety of businesses, and no one will need all of them. You may need only a few to start. If you decide to add others anytime during your 18-month agreement, they are included at no additional cost.

Is logo design included?

No. Logo design is available as an optional service. Please contact me for more details. 

Can I pay by check?

We do not accept check payments for any of our PeakCARE website plans. All payments are set up on a monthly auto-pay subscription from a valid credit or debit card for the duration of your contract. This is to avoid interruption in payment and to cover the cost of development, maintenance and ongoing unlimited content updates.

How soon can we start?

Project start times vary based on our current work load. We can discuss this during our initial consultation call.

How long will it take to build my website?

The development time varies depending on which PeakCARE website plan you choose. Our general time frame is about 6-8 weeks for BUDGET websites and 10-12 weeks for STANDARD or PREMIUM websites. All time frames depend on the complexity of features you choose and your responsiveness.

Is there a limit to the amount of changes?

There’s no limit. You can request as many basic changes as you’d like within our Turn-Around Times. New feature requests are limited to the plan that you are on.

How long does it take for you to make changes to my website?

After your website is live, basic updates and content revisions will be completed within 5 business days. All update requests are submitted through our dedicated Client Portal unless otherwise arranged. New pages and features take longer depending on the complexity of the request. Can I make changes to my website myself?

Yes, but since your website plan includes UNLIMITED CONTENT CHANGES, why would you want to? Isn't your time better spent doing what you do best - running and growing your business?!

However, if you must, we can make it relatively easy for you to login and make changes. Keep in mind some changes are more difficult than others. We DO NOT provide website training.

Can I upgrade during 18 month agreement?

Yes, but because we distribute the cost of your initial website design, development, and included features for your particular plan over 18 monthly payments, you would be required to pay the difference in cost between your current plan and the upgraded plan for the months that have already passed in addition to the increased cost per month of the new plan.

Can I cancel or downgrade the agreement before the end of the 18 months?

There’s no option to cancel or downgrade the agreement early. This is because we distribute the cost of your initial website design and development, plus your monthly unlimited changes, hosting, software updates, security audits and backups over 18 monthly payments. Most of the design and development happens at the beginning of the agreement term.

However, you’re welcome to pay off the total amount of the agreement at any time and we will honor our commitment to provide our promised services for the remainder of the 18 months.

What happens at the end of 18 month agreement?

Once your 18-month agreement is complete, you own your website and all of its contents. You are free to move to another company or hosting provider. However, most of our clients choose to continue with one of our renewal options – full renewal, maintenance only, or managed hosting.

Although we would never want to lose you, if you do decide to move we’ll provide you with an easy-to-restore backup file that contains your entire website.
