The Biggest Little Rodeo in California. Managed by the Kern Country Sheriff’s Reserve Association, the PRCA Stampede Days Rodeo has been an annual event in Bakersfield, CA since 1985. This Joomla!-based website features information for rodeo spectators, vendors and participants, slideshow of rodeo events, rodeo queens, and rodeo event results.

Website promotes attractions and events in the local area to encourage people to visit the area. Includes a business directory using a customized version of the Joomla! component SOBI2. Also an events calendar, photo gallery, wine blog, press releases. Registered users can log in to rate and review local businesses and attractions, plus add new business listings and events. Association members have additional log-in privileges that access member-only content.

This is a redesign from a previous website that was not ranking in the search engines for any relevant keyword phrases. The previous website was set up in such a way that search engine optimization was not possible - there was no way to list unique metatags or titles for each page. The new site was built on Joomla 2.5 with specific attention paid to SEO considerations including rewriting the original content text. Within a few weeks of launch the new site was ranking on page 1 of Google for targeted keyword phrases. Features extensions for photo gallery, Google maps with directions, and social media share buttons.

Treasures eConsignment Shop specializes in designer brand merchandise including purses, shoes, jewelry, unique gifts and accessories. This Joomla!-based website enhances the brick-and-mortar storefront by extending their potential customer base beyond their local area. The e-commerce shop built with VirtueMart features select items from the store. Also provided are store policies, downloadable PDFs for consignors agreement and guidelines, plus integration with shop inventory software system so consignors can log in and see the status of their items.
