Video Pipeline Inspection Systems Website Redesign
Scooter Video Pipeline Inspection Systems website was originally designed nearly 10 years ago, and by internet standards that’s prehistoric. They still wanted only a simple, brochure-type website with basic information. Sparks Arts developed a fresh, new look that implied professionalism and reliability.
Historic Hotel Website Redesign
After a change in ownership, the historic Aztec Hotel in Monrovia, CA needed an updated website. The original website suffered from a bad case of 90’s internet styles, and while the hotel is nearly 90 years old they didn't want their online presence to appear ancient. The new design features a retro look coupled with modern functionality and ease of maintenance courtesy of the Joomla! content management system.
Bakery Website Redesign
Sparks Arts design the original website for Kohnen’s Country Bakery in 2007. This static HTML/CSS set up made content revisions costly, so it was rarely modified - which is like death for a website. Search engines ignore it, and after awhile so does the public. Again the desire for an easy method of revisions and more functionality lead us to redesign this site using Joomla!
Quilting Website Redesign
Sparks Arts developed the original e-commerce website for Nancy Rink Designs in 2005 using static HTML/CSS. Since Nancy is a quilt designer not a website coder, this made adding new products and content revisions very time-consuming and expensive. The solution was to migrate her website to Joomla! content management system for ease of maintenance (even for a non-programmer) and greatly expanded functionality - a true e-commerce system (VirtueMart) rather than just static PayPal buy now buttons, integrated blog, system to manage downloadable documents, slideshows, Facebook like box, and more!
Parks and Rec Dept Website Redesign
The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District website is very busy with frequent content updates. Sparks Arts developed the original design in 2008, and in 2011 the Department decided it was time for a new look and added functionality. After three years, the options had expanded significantly with many new Joomla! extensions and updated templates offering the latest in internet trends. And some of the original, reliable standards remained such as Google maps and driving directions.
Photographer's Website Redesign
Gail Martin Photography wanted a more professional-looking website design to help increase her online photography sales. Her quality prints and limited editions required a quality online presence.
Our redesign features a modern, attractive, professional design that builds credibility and trust; easier method of locating and viewing photographs (including larger views); and online shopping cart and PayPal checkout.
Metal Fabricator Website Redesign
Fabricor Products, Inc. is a metal fabricator and custom manufacturer that needed to upgrade their web presence to bring in more custom projects and to sell a catalog of stock items.
Our redesign includes an online store of pre-built stock items with shopping cart, PayPal and credit card check out; automatic and real-time UPS shipping costs based on shipping method, weight of order and delivery destination; custom RFQ contact form; online FAQs; company background and capabilities; company policies.
Hotel, Tourism and Leisure Consultant Website Redesign
Horwath HTL USA is a consulting specialist in the hotel, tourism and leisure industries with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami.
Whirlpool Bath Retailer Website Redesign
Whirlpoolbath.net offers hundreds of bath models from a dozen or so manufacturers. The entire sales effort is online. Their original website suffered from a lack of organization, making it impossible for a visitor to find anything.
Sparks Arts' new design features consistent, user-friendly site navigation, a sitewide search function, and products organized in several ways - by manufacturer, by style and by size - making it easier for customers to find what they want.
Window Service Website Redesign
The original website for Palo Verde Glass and Screen Service in Tucson, AZ was created by the local yellow pages company. The site featured very little information and the client was too busy to figure out how to update it. On top of that, their monthly fee to keep this ineffective website was 10 times what it should be.
The client was not interested in maintaining the website himself, so Sparks Arts designed a custom CSS-based look that focuses on product and service descriptions, a portfolio of work, warranties, meet the staff, interactive Google map for directions to the shop, and (most importantly) lead generation via an online form to request an appointment for a free estimate.
Real Estate Website Redesign
The old website was created on a generic real estate hosting service using a bland template. The real estate agent was looking for a more custom design.
For the new Bear Valley Springs Realty website we designed the look from scratch using a database-driven system that can be easily updated by the client. Our new website includes up-to-date interest rate averages, local weather forecasts, interactive Google maps for each listing, and custom contact forms.
E-Commerce Website Redesign
CST Sales relies completely on catalog and online sales. However, their old website had no e-commerce capabilities.
With thousands of products, a robust shopping cart and e-commerce system was necessary. After extensive research into the available options, ShopSite Pro was selected. ShopSite Pro allows for custom-designed web pages that integrate with the product database and sales check-out. Product additions and updates are easily handled by non-techical users, so the client doesn't have to pay the web designer to make changes. The CST Sales website is now completely maintained by the client.
Shortly after launch, CST Sales received this e-mail:
Awesome, awesome, awesome work on the site!!! I see you guys have a whole new professional look and are adding pictures to the products! Keep it up! Great move!

Publisher Website Redesign
The old Ape Pen Publishing website was created using the Yahoo Store site builder. There were numerous technical problems, with content overlapping and poor organization creating visitor confusion.
Our new design followed the client's general vision to create a unique and compelling presence online.
Updated Logo Redesign
Coastal Netting wanted to modernize their logo while still keeping a similar style. The new eye-catching&n logo stands out prominently in all their ads and marketing materials and has even been embossed on leather briefcases.
Business Card Redesign
Our new business card layout matched Mirabella's existing storefront sign design for a consistent branding image. A new portrait and more colorful design topped off the design for more eye appeal.
