Thanks to the Coastal Quilters Guild of Santa Barbara/Goleta for inviting me to participate as a panel speaker October 9, 2010 when they hosted the Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds’ meeting. The program was entitled “Marketing your Guild as a Business” and focused on using the internet to increase guild attendance, participation and membership.

- Sherilyn Guernsey, webmaster of South Bay Quilters Guild, discussed her successful use of Social Networking services such as Facebook and Twitter to increase participation in guild activities.
